Loretta Milligan Elliott

Loretta Milligan Elliott, 50, died September 13, 2009 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She was born in Winslow, Arizona, daughter of the late, Barbara Lucero Milligan. Mrs. Elliott moved to Savannah in 1990 from Hinesville. She was the manager of the Hunter Army Airfield Commissary Grocery Department and a communicant of St. James Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Elliott of Savannah; son, Corry M. Elliott and his wife, Navia of Savannah; daughter, Jessica M. Ortiz of Savannah; brothers, Joe Milligan and his wife, Dolores of Flagstaff, AZ; Max Milligan and his wife, Terri of Winslow, AZ; Grant Milligan of Silver City, NM; Julian Milligan of Flagstaff, AZ; Johnny Lucero and his wife, Sylvia of Las Cruces, NM; three sisters, Ramona Hayes of Silver City, NM; Connie Ochoa and her husband, Frank of Las Cruces, NM; Lydia Gates of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Kayla Marie Ortiz, Carlos Lucino Ortiz, Tyler Miguel Elliott all of Savannah; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with a Christian Wake Service at 6:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2009 at St. James Catholic Church with The Reverend Patrick O'Brien Celebrant.
Entombment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
